Flag Football and Jesus

I get to play in my 3rd flag football game tonight.  I’m loving it, actually.  A friend of mine called me a few weeks ago and told me his team needed a player because they’d had some injuries.  I haven’t played in years.  It’s a lot of fun and a great way to compete and meet new people.  I’m especially excited about this guy because he’s someone who I’ve been trying to connect with for a while so that I could build a ramp to talk about Jesus with him.  His wife goes to Gateway but he’s not interested.  I’m not trying to sell him on coming to church.  I just think he (like a lot of people) has some misunderstandings about God and church.  Hopefully, this will be my opportunity to break down some walls and share with him a little about my personal walk with God.   I’ll keep you posted.
